
Ian Reason
President – Triumph Mechanical Solutions
Ian Reason is the President for Mechanical Solutions with P&L responsibility for the Triumph Mechanical Solutions Operating Company which comprises 7 sites across the US, France, Germany, UK and the Isle of Man.
Ian joined Triumph in September 2016 as the Vice President for Military Business Development and later took additional responsibility for driving after market growth across the entire Triumph Group of companies before starting his current Operating Company President role in December 2019. Prior to joining Triumph, Ian served for 24 years as a commissioned officer in the Royal Navy, specializing as an Aircraft Engineering Officer working at sea with both fast jets and rotary wing aircraft, After retiring from the Royal Navy, Ian spent 12 years with BAE Systems supporting the F-35 program in the UK, and as the BAE Systems F-35 VP & General Manager at Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth, TX facility.

Michael A. Manning
General Manager North Wales & Shelbyville
Michael leads the North Wales and Shelbyville businesses for Mechanical Solutions. Since joining Triumph in April 2017, he has focused on driving operational and financial performance. While with Triumph Product Support, he was the business unit leader for operational excellence. Michael began his career in the aerospace division at Honeywell holding several P&L leadership positions including site leader for the Urbana Service Center. In this role, he oversaw the repair, modification and upgrade of aircraft lighting systems and avionics products. Most recently before joining Triumph, Michael was the Aftermarket Services Director within the Aviation Products division at L3 Technologies.

Chris Allen
Managing Director – UK & IOM
Chris Allen heads up the UK & Isle of Man business – Staverton, Deeside and Isle of Man. The UK & IOM business manufacture actuation system products with a core competency in landing gear extension and retraction systems by means of both hydraulic and electro-mechanical actuation.
Chris joined Triumph Group in 2014 when Triumph acquired the GE Aviation – Landing Gear Hydraulics business. At that time Chris held the General Manager responsibility for the Isle of Man site under GE Aviation. Chris took responsibility for all three sites in March 2019. He has over 30 years of manufacturing experience in several businesses across the automotive, aerospace and motorcycle sectors.

Martin Sievers
Managing Director – Heiligenhaus, Germany
Martin joined Triumph Group in 1997 as Regional Sales Manager responsible for sales & marketing activities of Triumph Controls US for Europe and Asia. After Triumph’s acquisition of the Heiligenhaus facility in 2009, Martin took responsibility as Managing Director of Triumph Controls-Germany and has successfully improved the site into a world class company. Prior to joining Triumph, Martin worked as a Group Leader Aerospace for Morse Controls.

Guillaume Pichery
Managing Director – Paris France
Guillaume joined Triumph Group in 2010 as Operations Director. In that role he was instrumental in bringing the operations at Mechanical Solutions France up to industry performance standards. Guillaume was promoted to the Managing Director position in 2018, and he continued the transformation of MS France into a market leading organization. Guillaume has a broad background in manufacturing holding various positions in the aerospace, automotive and shipbuilding industries.

Michael A. Henderson
Director – Engineering
Mike joined Triumph Group in 1998, and now leads the Mechanical Solutions design engineering and program management teams. Mike is responsible for driving continued growth and creating innovative solutions. Mike brings over twenty years of professional experience in the aerospace, defense, pharmaceutical packaging, and energy industries. Mike began his career as a commissioned US Army officer and later held roles of increasing responsibility at Lockheed Martin, Ametek, and United Defense.
